The latest fundraising item that I have added to my bowelcancerfundraising.co.uk website during bowel cancer awareness month is blue STOP BOWEL CANCER silicon wristbands. They will be a great way to raise awareness about bowel cancer, which is the second biggest cancer killer in the UK today. 41,000 people are diagnosed with this awful illness every year, and 16,000 people die each year as a result. If detected early the disease can be successfully treated in over 90% of cases, so raising awareness is so important. If early diagnosis rates can be improved then the number people being successfully treated at the early stage can increase from the current rate of about 15%, and this will save lives...
The wristbands are available to order on my website for just £1, and for quantities of four and over at the even lower price of £0.75 each. The website has now raised almost £4000 for Beating Bowel Cancer / Bowel Cancer UK in memory of my mum who passed away in 2016.
